The Best No and Low Cocktails for Every Occasion

Are you looking to add a little variety to your cocktail repertoire? Perhaps you’re hosting a party and need a great no or low-alcohol cocktail option to batch up? Here we have three cracking recipes for no or low-alcohol cocktails that everyone is going to want to pour more than a few glasses of.

  1. Virgin Mojito:

A classic cocktail that never fails to impress, the Virgin Mojito is a refreshing blend of muddled mint leaves, lime juice, simple syrup, and soda water. Perfect for hot summer days or as a refreshing pick-me-up any time of year, this cocktail is bursting with flavour. Simply muddle the mint leaves with lime juice and simple syrup in a glass, add ice, top with soda water, and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint for an extra burst of freshness.

If you’re batching and you want to add a little alcohol then try a single measure of white rum for every three cocktails, this will put the ABV around 2% or 3% ABV.

  1. Cucumber Basil Cooler:

For a light and refreshing option that's as stylish as it is delicious, try the Cucumber Basil Cooler. This cocktail combines fresh cucumber slices, basil leaves, lime juice, and a touch of agave syrup for a crisp and revitalising drink that's perfect for any occasion. Simply muddle the cucumber slices and basil leaves in a shaker, add lime juice, agave syrup, and ice, shake well, then strain into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with a cucumber slice and basil leaf.

To add a little smokiness, add 10ml of mezcal. This will give your drink an extra kick whilst keeping the ABV around 3% mark.

  1. Sparkling Berry Spritz:

If you're craving something fruity and effervescent, look no further than the Sparkling Berry Spritz. This cocktail combines a medley of fresh berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries) with a splash of lemon juice and soda water for a vibrant and refreshing drink that's bursting with flavour. Simply muddle the berries with lemon juice in a glass, add ice, top with soda, and garnish with a slice of lemon or a few extra berries.

The best thing about this recipe is you can swap the soda water for a non-alc sparkling for added body.
